Family Program in York, England, for parents and children (12-17 years old)
York is a typical and historical city in the North of England, it is one of the most charming cities in the country. The Junior school is located inside a Georgian building in a pedestrian right in the city center of York and the adult’s school is just next door.
As York is a small city, this is the ideal location for families willing to experience a full immersion
into the British culture, while spending time together. Families really like walking in the typical narrow
street of York and enjoy the atmosphere of this city.

Adult Course
The interactive English course will help the adults to improve their language skills, communicate
effectively in a nice and relaxed atmosphere.
Teachers and students plan together to ensure everyone’s needs are met. The lessons provide an opportunity for fluency practice with lots of communicative activities. Student get a feedback from teachers that develops your confidence in day-to-day speaking and listening transactions.

Junior Course
The lessons are especially designed for young students and are very interactive and based on
communication. Students will gain confidence and will express themselves in English more
easily and more fluently.

Accommodation
Families can choose to book their own accommodation or to stay in one of the friendly host families (only available for 1 parent + 1 child or 1 parent + 2 children).

Activities
A varied activity program can be included for the children: the students will be able to relax after the lessons while discovering the beauty of Northern England. York has a lot to offer, from medieval sites to Viking treasures.
The program includes daily afternoon activities and excursions during the weekend. Evening
activities are also offered during the week, the students will go back home after the activities under supervision.
Example of excursions: Leeds, Whitby, Manchester
Example of afternoon and evening activities: sports, crafts, visit to York Chocolate Story, Castle Museum, river boat cruise
