How
to Go There |
 |
|
| All the airlines that
fly to Argentina internationally arrive at the Ministro Pistarini
(Ezeiza) International Airport of Buenos Aires, 35 Km from the
Federal Capital (Information, Tel. 4480-9538). Don't forget
that on leaving the country a tax of $ 30,50 has to be paid.
The companies Manuel Tienda León (Av. Santa Fe 790, Tel.
4315-0489) and Ecuador (Florida 1045, Tel. 4314-1999) offer
a half-hourly bus service between its offices in Buenos Aires
and Ezeiza airport from 04.00 to 21.00 hours. The fare is $
15, and the trip takes around 40 minutes. There are also taxis
and chauffeur-driven rental cars, between $ 35 and $ 40. |

When
to Go |
 |
|
| In the southern hemisphere
the seasons are opposite to those in the northern hemisphere.
In general, summer with mild temperatures and long days is the
bestl time to visit Patagonia and the Southern Andes. Winter
time is recommended for travelling to the North and Northwest
as the rains are less frequent and the tropical temperatures
drop a few degrees. Fall and Spring are beautiful in Buenos
Aires, Cuyo and the pre-mountain range areas of La Rioja and
Catamarca. |
