How to get to Oxford, UK

Travelling to Oxford
We suggest you to get to Victoria Station and from there take a bus directly to Oxford, but you are free to choose from any these other following alternatives:
Getting here from outside Oxford

Here is a map showing the location of the school . It will give you directions on how to get to the school from a location of your choice.

It is also possible to get a taxi from the station. This should take about 20 minutes, and probably cost £6 - £7.

If you don't want to use public transport, we can arrange a transfer for you. You will be collected from the airport and taken to your host family. For more information, refer to Email info

Coming to Oxford by bus
 
From London

The Oxford Tube operates a service from Victoria, Marble Arch, Notting Hill Gate, Shepherd's Bush and Hillingdon, in London, to the centre of Oxford.

The X90 bus connects Baker Street, Marble Arch, Victoria Rail & Bus Stations and Victoria Coach Station in London, to the centre of Oxford. The same company runs the Airport Express bus , to and from Heathrow and Gatwick.

Coming to Oxford by train

Oxford Station Services
Great Western Trains operate intercity services from London, South Wales, the Cotswolds and the West of England.
Thames Trains operate services from London, Gatwick Airport, Hereford and Stratford upon Avon.Trains for Oxford from London operate from Paddington Station.
Virgin Cross Country operate intercity services from Scotland, North of England, Midlands and the South Coast.

How to Get to the Student Residence

24-hour bus services from London and its airports run past the Headington Campus every 15 minutes during the day (30 to 60 mins at night). An excellent seven-days-a week bus service, Brookes Bus, running between campuses, city centre and rail station.

If you're planning to join us for a campus tour, and are travelling by car, we encourage you to use the Park and Ride 400 service between the east (Thornhill) and west (Seacourt) which stops on the London Road outside the Headington Campus. These run every 10 minutes during the day.

If you are coming to Oxford by train, catch the Brookes Bus U1, Park and Ride 400, or Oxford Bus Company number 2 from the train station approach (opposite the Said Business School), a minute’s walk from the train station. All three services stop on the London Road, outside our Headington Campus.

The Brookes Bus U1 service links Wheatley and Harcourt Hill with the Headington Campus.

Getting around Oxford

You can get around Oxford by bus. There are 02 main companies:

Most of the people travelling in Oxford use Park and Ride Services. You can also buy rechargeable bus cards to save money and time. With this card, you will benefit from discounts up to 73%. If you want to buy a Park and Ride card or multiple trips cards, please go to the Oxford Key website.

Stagecoach’s X5 operates regular services to Bicester Village, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge. These buses departs from Oxford Bus Station in Gloucester Green.
