Spanish language course for teens in Tarragona !

The Spanish program for teenagers takes place in Tarragona; a pleasant seaside resort located about 100 km south of Barcelona. Tarragona is a provincial capital with a population of about 115 000 inhabitants. Located on the Costa Dorada, it is the ideal place for a program for teenagers. A large sandy beach is within walking distance of the school. Tarragona is very close to Port Aventura, one of the largest amusement parks in Europe and only 1 hour from Barcelona by bus or train.

Our partner school in Tarragona was founded in 1980. It is located near the main street of the city (the Rambla) in a typical house in the city center. It has 2 floors and a total of 10 classrooms, a study room and a lounge for students.

Course

Classes are taught by a team of experienced teachers who specialize in teaching Spanish as a

foreign language with a focus on communication.

Number of lessons: 15 per week (1 lesson = 55 minutes).
Students per group: maximum 12 students
Level: all levels accepted
Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 10am (3 hours per day)

Accommodation

Students have the choice between 2 types of accommodation: a local host family or in a student residence.

Housing:

1. Host family:

The school carefully selects all families to ensure that students have a comfortable stay in shared rooms that are well furnished

Distance from school: walking distance to school*

*A local bus pass is included if accommodation is with a host family living further than 20 minutes walking distance from the school

Arrival and departure day: Sunday / Saturday

2. Residence Sant Jordi:

The rooms feature wardrobes, desks and chairs, desk lamps and a shelf. The residence includes:

TV room, computer room, study rooms, small gym. Washing machines are available for a small charge. Reception is open 24h / 24.

Rooms: shared rooms (double or triple)
Meals: full board
Arrival and departure day: Sunday / Saturday

Activities

The program includes a wide variety of activities and excursions.

Example of activities / excursions: visit Tarragona on foot, welcome party, Aquapolis water park, beach Arrabassada, sports, picnics on the beach, karaoke, bowling, water and Roman ruins, Poblet and Montblanc, day excursion in Barcelona, Port Aventura, etc..
